Use the mouse or trackpad (etc.) to rotate the world.
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move the camera.

In the downloadable version use <escape> to close, and <backspace> to reset.

Mac version is untested. Linux and Windows versions have been tested. Linux is doing that annoying thing where the mouse gets caught on the edge of the screen, so you can't move the dot properly. This probably happens in the Mac version too :(
